Packaging scenery for sharing

Featured Replies

Hello ,

Ok the question i have is there a program that will package all the models up and textures so i don't miss something when packaging a scenery so that i can share with the community ? As i use ADE , SbuilderX and Instant Scenery 3 .

thanks

Not that i am aware of. All the files and textures you used for the scenery should be in the (your scenery) scenery - scenery/texture folders in most cases and that scenery folder is usually the one zipped up. If you don't have that basic file structure working, you probably shouldn't be trying to share it.. Keep in mind that unless you made the objects yourself, or used default ones, you will need permission to redistribute any of them.

Best, Michael

Yes, they are out there.  We used, I believe, Install Creator by Clickteam.  It would bundle up our app into designated folders we wanted, instructions we wanted to included, all into an .exe file if I remember correctly.  Worked really good.  That was several years ago.  I would Google them.
