JS 4100 In Windows 8.1

Featured Replies

I purchased the Bae Jetstream 4100 and it worked perfectly in Windows 8.  I just tried to run it in Windows 8.1 and find that my elevator control and power levers do not work correctly.  The yoke in the cockpit does not move at all.  The power levers move on command of my Saitek throttle but there is no engine response.   Anyone have any ideas?

Hello,

I do not have Win8 ... I use Win 7.

But, do you use FDUIPC to assign and calibrate your Saitek axes?

You could include your name in your signature profile. That way it would show up at the bottom of each of your posts in the PMDG forum.

I found that my entire FSX crashed as soon as I clicked on "Fly Now" after I upgraded to Windoze 8.1.  My solution turned out to be that by turning on DX-10 preview, everything works as advertised. My JS41 works in 8.1 with only one problem, if I use the HiDef panel, I get a severe graphics flicker in the cockpit. I don't know if there's a specific cure for that or if I'm stuck with using the LoDef panel. I don't see a lot of difference in them with my untrained eye.  :)

I'm using Windos 8.1 with no problems other than the flickering cockpit graphics, which are intermittent. Some days they do, some they don't. I also had this in Windows 7 so not OS related.

Complete and utter insurrection
