January 13, 201412 yr The last shot is Boca Reservoir, which I remember fondly. I went there with my brother and his dog Zack when the lake was frozen over one winter back in the 80's. My brother lived in Reno, so I would enjoy visiting him often (I lived in Nevada for about a year as well, in Minden-Gardnerville in the early 90's). It's a beautiful area to enjoy. In the 80's I was living in the Napa Valley and would work the all night shift at my hotel--I was the auditor and I'd ready the books for the accountant each night--what was cool about the job is I got to pick the Muzak for the hotel at night, so I'd work and switch from the mellow instrumental stuff we played for the guests in the day and I'd "Rock out" which made me very popular with the rest of the staff. Aircal had these two night Reno packages where I could fly R/T out of SFO, stay two nights and get a free concert for about $120.00. The airport shuttle would pick me up when I got off work and I'd fly to Reno to hang out with my brother and catch a concert. When AA bought out Aircal the packages lasted a bit longer, then were discontinued. Aircal had one of my favorite liveries for an airline.... For those who have never seen it: http://www.airliners.net/photo/AirCal/Boeing-737-3A4/0207375/L/&sid=ec7c5f4ef493ddc14514938c73cf5a34 I imagine simmers must be tired of seeing the Malibu so often, but it's the only aircraft I fly these days since it gets me going where I want to go in a hurry yet lands well (ground effect is modeled well and it's one of the few aircraft I fly in the sim that always seems to kiss the runway on landing). I recorded the entire flight with Matthais Neusinger's Recorder, so I can sit back and enjoy the scenery and have my virtual camera at the ready. John
