January 15, 201412 yr For FSBuild I am using Kurt Kalbfleisch's Beachcraft B200 / PT6A-42 ( http://fsbuild.com/aircraft_performance.html ).It has PRF and TLD files. Then I modified an aircraft file for it with Carenados weights.I found this on the FSBuild forum (search):[beech King Air B200 w/PT6A-42] -- (Kurt Kalbfleisch) ---WeightUnit=LBSOperEmptyWeight=8317PayloadWeight=1020ReserveFuel=:45AlternateFuel=HoldFuel=ExtraFuel=TaxiFuel=120ApproachFuel=75MaxTakeoffWeight=12500MaxZeroFuelWeight=11000MaxLandingWeight=12500MaxFuelWeight=3645ImageFile=PerformanceData=BE20.PRFToldData=BE20.TLDFor my testing with B1900D I changed some values to this:I added the section below to the Fsb_aircraft.cfg file.[b200 Prop] -- (vbm) testing ---WeightUnit=LBS //PayloadWeight=5110 // set to match loadReserveFuel=35 // (:min or lbs);AlternateFuel can be set in minutes or weightAlternateFuel=35HoldFuel=35 // (:min or lbs) 45 min x 90 lbs/min (100K lbs at 10000 ft)ExtraFuel=35 // (:min or lbs)TaxiFuel=20 //ApproachFuel=20 OperEmptyWeight=10550 MaxTakeoffWeight=17120 MaxZeroFuelWeight=15165 MaxLandingWeight=16765 MaxFuelWeight=4500 PerformanceData=BE20.PRF ToldData=BE20.tld ImageFile= MaxCruise=25000 ClimbFuelbias=0.0 //CruiseFuelbias=0.0 //2.4 DescentFuelbias=0.0 //Just testing now .. knowing that the fuel etc will not be perfect but I will add extra reserves and test it .. see how it does. January 16, 201412 yr Hi Vaughan, I did one for the B1900D a while back with data from a real world flight planner... I checked and it includes a TOLD file as well... http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=FSBuild+Profile+--+Beech+B1900D&CatID=root Regards, Scott
January 16, 201412 yr Author Scott, Looks like I can get rid of my "jury-rig-mod" now! Thanks. BTW, did you mention in another post you did a different one for FSBuild .. (not B19900D)? Found it : http://forum.avsim.net/topic/432026-carenado-beechcraft-b1900-vref-charts/ Guess you meant some other profile in that post? Scott, I noticed your Oper Weight = 10790. Carenado's is 10550 Is that because you have 19 passengers + 2 pilots and Carenado has 16 passengers and 2 pilots? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 16, 201412 yr Hi Vaughan, Happy to help... I don't recall where I obtained the weights off the top of my head - I built it for the PMDG model - maybe it's the default weight on that plane... In the bigger scheme of things a few hundred lbs either way is not going to change your flight plan much in a plane of this class... As you already know - you can easily change that to match the Carenado load out... Regards,Scott
January 16, 201412 yr Author Scott, The PMDG one is for FS9 (it does have 19 Px seats) .. how did you like it? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
January 16, 201412 yr Hi Vaughan, I enjoy both the C and D models very much - I caught a sale at Aerosoft for both models... I still fly and enjoy them to this day... I've upgraded the sounds with the TSS product and made some of my own panel mods... I've add the RXP GNS530W and the ISGsim FMC to some of the D variants for Navigation... I've added the RXP Jetline 2 gauges to the D models... So while heavily modified - they are still a blast to fly... I saw you mention good turboprops for FS9 - my favorites - Erik's EMB-120 for free is excellent with the panel from Marcus Gama - and probably my favorite is Digital Aviation’s Piper Cheyenne - it's the best turboprop I've ever owned and enjoy it immensely... Regards,Scott
January 16, 201412 yr Author Scott, Thanks for the follow up: "I enjoy both the C and D models very much" Ok, I just might get the PMDG B1900D (for FS9) and put the RXP-Garmin in it. I do not have the JetLine2 but maybe that also. I still fly FS9 a'lot and have always loved it. Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
