Have you tried the AVSIM Configuration Guide? This setup guide works fine for me, just read through the whole document and follow it - your FSX should work like a charm then.

DXT10 might help a little but your processor is way to slow. You really need to be at least 3.0ghz as a minimum but more like 3.6ghz or faster.

Btw, its Acceleration not Accelerator and why do you have 8gb of ram on a 32bit OS?

Jim, you raise some good points there, but if you look at my system specs, you 'll see that I also have only a 2.4GHz processor (and I actually run FSX on a laptop). It runs really fine, though with some minor tradeoffs - but I really don't miss the NGX or similar planes, I'm quite happy with DX10, photoscenery and a little GA plane in nice weather . One simply has to run FSX at some lower settings for reasonable performance, but the powerful frame killers autogen and AI aren't the most important sliders IMO.

As for the 8GB RAM, it is of course not necessary for a 32 bit application, but if the OP uses his computer for other stuff, too? And even if not, it's for sure not bad to have 8GB, although it will most likely not help anything...

I think he has Win7 32bit in which case the OS cant use more than 4gb. His description was kind of hard to tell though since he said he has 8gb of ram 32bit. You need a 64bit OS to make use of 8gb of ram

Missed that, thanks - I guess I've stopped reading that sentence after the 8GB RAM part. Homebuilt computer perhaps, or simply a typo?

Gentlemen... Thanks for all your answers... and I will respond your questions:

First thanks for the correction I was tired and my system I built myself.  I know my system is kind of old and need better processor.  My motherboard is ASUS P5N-E SLI the maximum memory is 8gig DDR2 and I will be built another system soon more powerfull.  For now I have this :

Windows 7 Ultimate on 32 bit, my video card is Nvidia GTX 650.  I made changes with Flight Simulator DX10 and I mess up my second monitor so I can't move any windows to the second monitor because FSX freezed..  and change color the main monitor well really mess.. ONLY If I use the primary monitor will work a little better... so I will reset everything and start fresh.. I THINK... What is your opinion???  gentlemen???  I would like to flight with good settings for now until I build my second system..

Again Thanks for all your info.. I appreciated .. great team.

Flog... I will nodify with your suggestion "The AVSIM Basic FSX/P3D Configuration Guide".. however I problably need help with NvidiaInspector...Also I have Rex Essential weather

however I problably need help with NvidiaInspector

The AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide also has your NVidia Inspector settings for DX9 AND DX10!!!  An excellent suggestion from FlorianG!!

It would be best if you upgraded your Windows 7 to 64 bit.  FSX runs much better with that.  Otherwise you will have to employ the /3GB switch for 32 bit Windows so you will have more virtual address space.  Even with a 64 bit OS, Windows and FSX can only use 4GB's of virtual address space (the max).  The AVSIM FSX Configuration Guide will tell you a little more about that but, before you go much further in your configuration process(es), I would insert your 64 bit Windows disk and install that first.

I would watch Matt Davies 2013 FSX tweaking guide on YouTube and run in DX9.

(Covers fsx settings, CFg tweaks, bj online tool, and Nvidia inspector settings)

That should get you a smooth running FSX.

Then make changes from there if need be.

DX10 can be complicated and you might need to consult with the folks on the DX10 forum.

( not to mentions Steve's DX10 fixer)

Upgrading might be a good idea too, as others have mentioned.

DX10 can be complicated and you might need to consult with the folks on the DX10 forum.

DX10 Preview was meant for one to simply turn on/off without any additional configuration changes.  What kind of developer would ever come up with an addon technology that would require one to change his/her configurations every time it is changed from DX9 to DX10 and vice-versa?  Answer:  None.  In fact, I use the same settings for DX10 and DX9 simming (I rarely switch to DX9 though).  Absolutely no difference.  SteveP did fix some anomalies in DX10 Preview that the Aces Team (the FSX Developers) did not have time to fix before Microsoft released them.  You won't be able to use the textures in FS9 and earlier versions of FS as DX10 only uses the FSX texture format.  When you switch to DX10 Preview, you will only see certain changes in FSX, like shadows in the virtual cockpit to give you more immersion into flight simming, rough seas or water that is influenced by the weather but not much else when compared to DX9 technology.  That's what higher technology does though... gives you more eye-candy.  DX10 technology will give you a 5-6 fps performance boost if you make no changes from DX9 to DX10 in your configurations and that equals to about a 20% performance increase if fps are locked at 30.  More information can be found at the Lead FSX Developer's blog - http://blogs.msdn.com/b/ptaylor/archive/2007/10/02/acceleration-and-sp2.aspx.  If the OP is interested in DX10, he should visit the AVSIM DX10 Forum for more information.  Paul J does a great job getting people set up and he might even have a couple of tweaks to throw at you in case you do want to modify your fsx and video card configurations.

In case you are interested, here is my recent experience obtaining a new computer for FSX.

I am not a computer expert by any stretched but the new system has performed admirably.
