January 19, 201412 yr Hi all, some might know about the (completely free) FSCloud.net multiplayer system (http://fscloud.net). It is supposed to work with FSX and P3D, bringing together all of them in one multiplayer system. We are always happy about more users experiences regarding the FSCloud per se as well as the APPs you can startup from within (like Human ATC app, Groupflight, World Tour, ...). The client is easy to use: Download - Install - Start FSX or P3D in freeflight mode at some gate - Start the FSCloud, that's it. You will be able to see other players' planes nearby and fly together with them (or do your own flights). It's best to deactivate AI airtraffic for not mixing up FSCloud players and AI traffic (so far it is no requirement). Most functions should be self-explaining, like the ENTER key menu (hit the ENTER key inside FSX with the FSCloud running) or the overlays. On the other hand some things might still not be optimized that's why we are happy about even more testers / players (there are around 10 - 40 pilots online most of the time, not yet really enough to stress test the system). We are thankful for all experiences users share with us about this multiplayer system.Thank you
January 19, 201412 yr Sounds interesting but a few questions..... How is the lag when planes are close together, as in formation flying? Do they jump? Is the full FSX menu available when in FSX? Some servers limit the options. Whats with the 'points' thing? Why is that needed? "Crashes ON and FSX set to 'realistic', why? Jay
January 19, 201412 yr Author The software is good for airliner jets and such, so formation flying - that wont work well for now, sorry. The FSX menu is fully available. The "points" are just for entertaining and not needed nor required. If you are for points, you will need some realism for fairness reasons (since you lose a point with crashing i.ex.). You can turn off realism if you do not care about the points (you can also disable the warning message about realism in the FSCloud's config menu).
April 11, 201412 yr i just tried it, i am gonna keep it on my pc and use it when i do my flight plans
April 13, 201412 yr Sounds like a rehash of the FSHost software that has been working okay for years. What different about this? Karl I7-4770K/8GB RAM/GTX 770/W7-64
January 29, 20197 yr My Question: Is it possible to fly with "Shared Cockpit" in FSCloud. If YES --- HOW ?
