Unbelievable

Featured Replies

I do not know if anyone rememebers, but when FS9 was nearing relaease, a member posted in jets that we would have realtime traffic tracking. Well, several months later, I was amazed to click an Avsim add to find: http://www.airnavsystems.com/ANFS/index.htm.Any reviews. My biggest concern is fps.

There have already been at least two or three LONG threads on this subject already. Why not simply read them?

Its very good. FPS is no problem on my system. I run it at 100% and get .2 drop in FPS at KLAX, and the KOAK/KSFO area.Only problem is that FS9 ATC doesnt provide the best seperation and sequencing for AI traffic so you can get forced go-arounds if multiple flights are scheduled with very close ETA times. Also beware of small GA traffic that must share arrivals with jets at busy airports in FS9(like KOAK), because ATC doesnt have enough sense to have smaller traffic land on smaller runways, you may have single-engine props clogging the approach course. This isnt FS Live Traffics fault, the best thing to do is eliminate GA AI traffic in the FS9 traffic settings.Besides that, all the AI interacts with ATC very well, navigating the tarmac is great, you gotta check both ways at intersections and Ground will give instructions to help manage ground traffic.

>There have already been at least two or three LONG threads on>this subject already. Why not simply read them?As was said in another thread very recently this is a pointless post. Links to those threads would be much more useful as the original poster of this thread was genuinely asking for information. We seem to now live in an age when some people expect others to search the whole of this forum for answers to any question they might want to ask - and get flamed if they don't do this.Sigh ....David

Howdy,Also seems it's an age when people simply cannot read the question that was asked. The original poster asked for a REVIEW. The threads I managed to pull up with the Advanced Search function contained not one review of the product, but rather snippy comments and opinions. Big difference (at least where I come from).

Many thanks Natty.

I think your response was "Unbelievable", extrordinarily rude and condescending! Not the sort of attitude one expects on this normally civil forum.Satchmo

And in the last case he now knows a bit more.Mr. Wenting, has it ever occured to you to be more helpful yourself? Every post I have ever seen you write on this forum, has been rude, condescending, out of order and simply composed to disrespect and intimidate another human being. Why is it you must put down anyone asking for help or information? Why is it you yourself cannot give the person the benefit of the doubt, that he has asked for simple bit of information, and you cannot as another fellow simmer help him out and point him in the right direction? Why is he stupid for wanting help from us?>>Rather it seems to be an age in which many people are too lazy>>to think for themselves and expect everything they want to be>>handed them on a golden platter within seconds of them wanting>>it and start to scream bloody murder when that doesn't>>happen. As for this response? I know this to be an age were people have lost the will to help, and to build up their fellow humans. Where being humble and willing to serve is considered weak. It's an age where people take more pleasure in beating down others to make themselves feel more important, than to simply respond or treat others as they would wish to be treated. Whatever happend to that golden rule, "do to others, as you would have them do to you"? Perhaps this link will help the original poster with his question:http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...e=search#228919
