Vector Light Tool with UTX lowering my FPS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I tried the new vector light tool for use with UTX roads and I can tell you there is something changed in the terrain.cfg that definitly lowers my frame rates. I am upset because before I tried this my fsx was running very well, I could get well over 100 fps with the default trik in a test situation. I was wondering if anyone else is having this problem after trying this tool and if so did you fix it? I would really appreciate the help to fix this problem or just get my sim back to the way it was before, uninstalling the changes didn't fix my sim. I use FTXG, UTX, DX10 Fixer and all tests are with no weather program at a default airport clear skies.

Thanks for the help

"my fsx was running very well"....beggers the question why you tried it.  Still, hope you get it sorted.

Arnie....if it ain't broke, don't fix it...

What a strangely titled thread....something akin to "Man Eaten by Shark' ....attached to a video of a frog sitting on a rock doing nothing on youtube, in an attempt to get the view count up..

Perhaps something along the lines of 'Vector Light Tool with UTX lowering my FPS' may be more relevant....

Excellent suggested alternative. Now addressed.  B)
