Can you edit the size of the sun in P3D2? To my eyes it's waaay too big at dusk and dawn so I'd like to make it smaller. I've tried the obvious by editing the suneffect.cfg file ('SunSize' line) but it seems to have no effect whatsoever. Any ideas?

In P3D main folder you will find suneffect.cfg.

Backup file then begin to experiment with SunSize=XXXX.

You can also try to edit Size of sunglow.bmp under [LensFlare.1].

With HDR on/off you will recive different results.

Maybe I will try your second suggestion - as I said I tried editing SunSize but it seemed to make no difference at all.

Oh sorry, I didn't read your post carefully.

If you don't see any differences with Sunsize editing, I think you are using HDR. Then you should edit sunglow.
