This could be an issue of a missing effect texture file. It can often be resolved with a freeware program called Gauge Recovery; otherwise a repair might help.

Looks like you are missing the some of fx_# files in your Effects\Texture folder, it happened to me too when I removed an addon and for some reason it removed some of the FX files and then some files from the Effects folder as well.

 

If you don't have a backup of your install you may recover the missing files by browsing the AVSIM Library. Just enter "fix" in the search box and look for the file "missing textures" or something like that and the zip file contains the files FX_1 - FX_5 that go in your Effects\Texture folder.

OMG lol I have this too. Thought for some reason FSX put smoke out the back of jets.

Your fx_smoke.bmp is missing. That is what fixed it for me.
