January 27, 201412 yr Have you flown through hail/heavy rain yet?I did a week ago flying over Iran. Cloud tops of CB up around the FL3xx range... popped into a cloud, and darn near popped my EAR DRUMS!!! AHHH!!!!! SO LOUD!!! Now I need some kind of "Avoid waking the neighbours up" radar.
