Blue Squares

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I have this problem which i hope someone has a fix for. While on flight or even changing views, i get blue boxes on the surface of the water and sometimes it takes a a second or two for the skin of the aircraft to normalize. Does anyone know the reason why this happens?

Thank you

You have the DX10 box ticked - Settings--> Display

It's saying "DX10 - you need DX10"... "DX10 - the way to go..."

Sounds like you have high settings.  FSX just cannot render the scenery fast enough as the settings are too high (fsx.cfg and display settings).  Could be a tweak too.  Could be ENBSeries or SweetFX configuration (if you have it installed).  3-24 inch monitors could be the problem too and there have been some issues with ATI cards.  Pictures of the crime scene would help.  AVSIM has a great FSX Configuration Guide for the Fsx.cfg and display settings.  Highly recommended.  If you have any tweaks employed, delete the fsx.cfg and rebuild.

Hi Gentlemen,

Thank you for your replies. Its funny cause i never had this problem before. I did not even over tweak by fsx.cfg and let it on very basic stuff. Perhaps i would try to delete my fsx.cfg and rebuild and see what happens from there on.
