I 'v  been having Problems  with FS2crew and md-11   , It looks to me that the FS2Crew_Start_Center_April_2009_Setup   ( witch is the update ) was causing many problems   so for the 4th reinstall  I did not install it   and every  thing worked good
 
But I am still getting fsx crashes from time to time when loading FSX + MD-11    the   FS2crew does something to the panel file that makes FSX crash    ,,   I have been reinstalling FS2crew and pmdg md-11 several time to fix the issue
 
I Have an other Question Please   It also looks Like when I run TOPcat  witch also interferes with the aircraft.cfg   do you think this will also makes problems with FS2CREW ??  because when I run TOPcat   then load MD-11 with FScrew  fsx crashes
 
I hop we can FIX this in some way so I can enjoy your Product

I emailed you about this:

 

The Start Center runs independly from FSX.  They're totally seperate.

 

How are you loading the MD-11?

 

Make sure:

 

1. You never used saved situation files.  Initial aircraft on the free flight screen should be the ultralight trike.  Saved situation files and complex airplanes like the PMDG planes don't mix well.

 

2. Make sure the aircraft loads into the 2D cockpit by default, never the VC.  There's an FSX option for this in the Settings menu.

Sorry for the delay respond was very Busy at work today I understand what you are saying and I got it running ( FS2CREW ) But I am not using any other program Like my weather engine or TOPCAT I am trying to figure out could it be a Possibility that one of these programs is interfering with FSCREW ???

 

here is what happened to me last time I ran the FSCREW You know when you Load your Flight in FSX after the splash screen you will see it says Loading and numbers counting yes ? ( with the FSCREW ) and only with the MD-11 I dont see the bar that says Loading any more .

 

On my third try instead of just uninstall I try a different aircraft and every thing works good but only on the md-11 which is clear so what I do is uninstall fscrew and reinstall md-11 then reinstall fscrew and this time I did not install The Start Center and it worked 100%..

 

My main concern is I am afraid that if I run topcat or any other program will this effect fscrew ?? this is what I am trying to get to Please forgive my grammar & my writing , English is my second language

Topcat or any other program should not effect FS2Crew generally speaking.

 

They're independent.

Ok thank you  there is some thing i would Like to ask 

 

if i just start my flight the way i want  and taxi to the runway and then decide to start fscrew will it pick up from that point ??  or it must start while i am at the gate ??

Just a fast update   so I ran FS2crew offline and it worked very smooth no crashes  i tried it on Line also with no weather engine and it also worked very smooth 

 

I think it is the weather engine that is causing  the crashes   , I would Like to say I am starting to enjoy the Product now   But i am sacrificing my weather engine  OPUSFSX  :(

 

Who ever reads this and have had success with OPUSFSX and FScrew with no crashes Please let me know what Kind of settings do u have      Because i would like to enjoy my weather engine also

Glad you got it sorted with the MD-11.

 

RAAS just adds another layer of realism to the simulation; a lot of airliners use RAAS, a lot don't.

 

It's up to you if it's for you.
