February 3, 201412 yr I have a problem with my P3D2 installation. I use the Saitek Yoke with a second throttle quadrant. Furthermore I use a racing wheel with pedals (pedals for the rudder and the racing wheel as trim wheel). I use the SPAD driver and the registered version of FSUIPC. I have so far not assigned the settings in FSUIPC since I only installed it over the weekend. I used the P3D build-in assignments but to no avail. I can assign the wheel brakes to a button on my yoke in the menu but to no avail. If I return to the dialog it shows that the breaks are assigned to the button but it does not break! Same applies to the differential breaks. Any idea how to solve this? Or is it the only way to use the FSUIPC for this. If so, can anyone point me to an easy to read manual or even better video? February 3, 201412 yr Hi Doc: Not sure if this will work for your racing wheel but I would suggest you may find the braking assignments in the flight sim are an axis control and not a button control. This is because the sim allows for differential braking. You might try looking there. R.
February 3, 201412 yr When assigning a button to apply the brakes ... make sure you have the repeat slider fully right. Sounds like that's your problem. If your pedals have toe brakes, they need assigning to an axis to get differential braking.
