1/2 refresh rate. set vsync to half the monitors refresh rate in nvidia inspector.

Is it a 120Hz TV or Monitor?

HDTV's are not natively (sp?) 120Hz, they up-convert the signal. Perhaps try to disable the TV's refresh rate settings. Like true motion smooth, movie, sports. Whatever they call it.

Are you sure nvidia inspector is working? Pointed it to the EXE file. Limiting the frames within FSX itself? Also DX9 or 10?

DX9

Im pretty sure its working everything looks nice except this vsync issue. I have unlimited frames in FSX, locked down in inspector (ive tried different limits)

I havent pointed any exe file, i was under the impression that if I set it to MS FSX that it would apply those settings when I launch the game.

I noticed today turning it off in inspector yielded the same results as it being in 1/2, so Im not sure if its even working. I wished someone could point me in the right direction because Im about to shelf this card and stick my ATI back in..

If you look at my PC specs, you'll see I have two 780's with no screen tearing issues. Something in NVIDIA inspector must not be registering. Could you provide screen shots?

Also, what are you connecting to the tv with?

Frame Rate Limiter, lock it at 30.  "HDTV's are not natively 120Hz, they up-convert the signal" HDMI does not send a signal of over 60Hz, It does not have the bandwidth. Regardless. Try 30.

Ive tried 30, 58 and 118. They all yield the same result. Im starting to wonder if my problem is input lag on the tv? Ive forced it into a PC mode by renaming the input in the menu, changing it to a native 60hz and that made the problem better but its still very noticeable when I pan veiws.

Do you get the screen tear on a normal monitor? TV's are a bit of a different beast...

With inspector locked at 58, I average high 40's low 50's heavy weather will dip it as low as 20.

I dunno, I dont have a regular pc monitor to check. My old ATI 7970 ran through the same TV and never had a problem. Its a shame because this 780 is smooth as butter and gets me a much higher frame rate.
