February 8, 201412 yr Hi fellow pilots, I've looked but can't seem to narrow down if others are having the same problem I'm having. Ok so I've used the Bojote tweak and I've tried the Word Not Allowed software guide and inserted the uianimationcore.dll neither seems to fix my freezing issue. I don't see a blue screen and my fsx doesn't show any messages other than "not responding" on the top menu bar. This can happen even if I just watch progress and not even touch a button. I am using both PMDG 737-800 and -900 ngx and PMDG 777 my weather is provided by REX+OD ver 3.6.2013.0415. I love these two planes and hope to fly without losing my mind. February 8, 201412 yr Leave it for 10 minutes - then it should unfreeze. Same issue with many other issues. I had this happen only yesterday in the Airbus X Extended so its not limited to the 777. One user said he updated their sound drivers, I did, but still same issue so something wrong with FSX. Brent Lewis
February 8, 201412 yr Author Don't think RAM is the problem? I also noticed that my fuel was used while fsx during this.
February 8, 201412 yr RAM is not the culprit. Your findings match was has been posted about the freezes that occur when the T7 is present in an installation. For the NGX, you might test to disable the PMDG_Interface.dll (rename it to *.off) - but do so at your own risk! This *.dll is only needed for the T7. In order to fly it again, rename it back to *.dll beforehand. February 9, 201412 yr I have the same problem, pmdg 777 not responding after trying to enter data in the fmc. I7 4470K Nvidia gtx780 Win 7 pro Ram 16gb Sky active extra Ftx global Fsc aerosoft
February 9, 201412 yr ... and I get arbitrary freezes even with this dll disabled. What happened to AVSIM
February 10, 201412 yr Not responding doesn't mean the program isn't running. It means it's not communicating with windows. So fuel may well burn off while the sim is apparently frozen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
