Fairy simple really, I select to install the patch, it validates, then I get the following message

 

'Could not write value Complete to key\Products\A8FF3B2933C3CFE458D0FC925E24299D\Features. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel'

 

I have the original install sitting on its own drive (P) and its the only thing on that drive.

 

Any ideas anyone?
