CowanSim H125/R66 and 500E
I have the above installed and despite trawling the web and following numerous YouTube tutorials on mapping to my Velocity One Flightstick I cannot get the Lateral or Longitudinal trim to function. As per all the instructions, even Cowasim Manuals say map to the pov up/down/left/right hatswitch. it works on all the other helicopters?? Anyone got this working or am I missing something

Rex Atmos Core For Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
I know I am going to sound stupid here, but how do I actually apply one of the pre-sets that are showing in the community ones? I have been saving one as a favourite then from there selecting the arrow key which indicates it will load every time I fire up MSFS2024. Can't I just pick one and load it? Thanks

ATR 72-600
Yes set to cruise on reaching set altitude of 12500 feet. This is the odd thing, it is in random places, this was the furthest point I had reached. I do have EGPF Airport by pyreegue. I know what you mean about running out of ideas. I'm going to try the same route using different aircraft

- ATR 72-600
Now I am confused. Once again, everything going well, following the flight path perfectly, I kept my eye on everything, making sure no increases or decreases in speed, then for no reason as I got past FOYLE it veered off the flight path, started to begin what looked like a complete about turn and started to lose height, AP was still on???? Think I'm going to abandon the ATR- ATR 72-600

Well I followed various videos and then tried a fairly simple flight from Inverness to Leeds Bradford. Once again I used Simbrief to give me the route and then imported into the EFB on Board and the MS2024 EFB. That was then set in the MCDU and I looked through all of the waypoints. I made sure it was all the same in Navigraph. Made sure that the were no Discontinuity entries. Set Altitude and NAV and off I went. The first waypoint is GUSSI, this shows as purple on the MCDU, I get past that but before I get to the next one which is NESDI the plane goes completely of course and goes into crash dive. I'm obviously doing something wrong, what I don't know It's something with me and the ATR. I've just done at least two thirds of the route, using the above but in the Cessna Skywagon that comes with MSFS2024, not a hitch followed everything perfectly- ATR 72-600
Hopefully someone can put me out of my miser and tell me what the heck I'm doing wrong. I create flight plan(s) using simbrief and import it into the MCDU. I set NAV and Vnav etc and off I go. Everything goes well for a time then suddenly the aircraft has a mind of its own, doesn't follow the route and goes completely off course. It's driving me mad. I've had a look at some of the youtube tutorials and I can't see what I'm doing wrong. I don't fly the large airliners but I do love the ATR but I'm getting fed up. I've been hoping to get through a full AP approach and landing but I can't get 10 minutes into a flight before everything goes pearshaped- Error message on upgrade
Fairy simple really, I select to install the patch, it validates, then I get the following message 'Could not write value Complete to key\Products\A8FF3B2933C3CFE458D0FC925E24299D\Features. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel' I have the original install sitting on its own drive (P) and its the only thing on that drive. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Paul- Decision time
I have used FSX since god was a lad, however I am now considering whether to leap into the new territory of Prepar3d. My only concern is my setup, it is now a few years old and I really don't wish to do a complete re-build. Any advice would be good at this stage. I am already thinking a new Graphics card is required so I am looking at a Gigabyte GeForce GTX770 Windforce 3x OC 4096mb GDDR5, also with a potential problem with power I am getting a new PSU (Corsair RM750) My concern is that even after this my cpu will not be up to the job, I have an Intel i7 920 2.6 OC to 3.8. I also have 6gb of RAM. Money is a bit tight so at the moment it wil be the GPU and power. Will I be able to run Prepar3d v2 and notice any great changes from FSX Thank you for any advice/tips Paul - ATR 72-600
