Recommendation - flight planning laptop

Featured Replies

Hi everyone

We're pretty much a Apple Mac household bar the FSX pc, but I want to get a small laptop (11-13inch) to run ppfx and rex etc to use primarily for flight planning and FSX support.

Does anyone have any recommendations for the cheaper end of the market?

Thanks in advance....

Jason Jackett

Any particular model mate?

If it's really just for flight planning I would just buy an iPad, even a 2nd hand one, and then get the fore flight app with subscriptions for the area you want to fly in. (Mostly USA and Canada) this is by far the most powerful / fast / easy way to flight plan. I use it both in real life and in the sim.

Thanks for your help but I use pfpx for planning so really need something that will run that. Would also like to take some load off the fsx pc....
