Learjet 45 from FSX to P3D

Featured Replies

Hi, I hope that you can help me.

I tried to copy all standard airplanes from FSX to P3D.

I copied all files

...:\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes

....:\FSX\Effects

....:\FSX\Gauges

to the same folders in the .....:\Prepar3D\.....

Unfortunately, I don't see the 3D virtual cockpit for the Learjet 45 (and CRJ700).

Could you please help me?????

thanks.
bye CNC

First of all, you should not copy the entire aircraft from FSX to P3D. It's already in P3D, but only as an AI aircraft!

Given than, all you really need to do is:

  1. Copy the entire ..\panel folder from FSX to the P3D Lear45's root folder.
  2. Copy the Lear45_Interior.mdl and model.cfg files from FSX to the P3D Lear45's ..\model folder.

That's it! The same steps are needed for the CRJ as well. You should not try to "fix" more than one aircraft at a time, otherwise you might just wind up with a real mess on your hands!

Robin, I didn't need any of the ..\fonts at all since they are already present in P3Dv1.x and up...
