rudder pedals required?

Featured Replies

I am considering buying this plane but only have a Saitek Yoke and no rudder pedals?  Will this aircraft work with FSX auto rudder enabled please

Not very good. A joystick with twist axis will do the trick. It doesn't have to be expensive. I believe mine is called Logitech Extreme PRO. 30-50 dollars, many buttons and good reliability. Pedals with rudder and toe brake control would be even better but far more expensive.

Auto rudder will work ... but your crosswind limit will be lower!   :P

Either a joystick with a "twist" or car racing pedals (less expensive than rudder pedals with toe brakes) are the ways to go.

What happened to AVSIM

Hi,

if you have a money-limit you could begin with joystick only...

But if you want seriously train by using all the potential of this sim you should consider seriously to buy rudder pedals..you know...during an engine failure on takeoff (after v1)..but also extreme crosswind conditions..having rudder is a lot more realistic..

If you are happy to pay the shipping I can send you my Saitek pedals. They work perfectly but sit gathering dust.  My sim is based in Bahrain
