March 1, 201412 yr Guys, Seriously this site is so slow that it is virtually unusable. What is the problem? It has been like this for weeks now. I really love Avsim but something has to be done to fix this.

March 1, 201412 yr We are working on addressing the slow down. Most of us know that Chase, and appreciate the effort the AVSIM staff are making. I for one have seen a improvement lately, so, eye of the beholder I suppose. For those who are still waiting or wanting, just remember something like a PII processor at 1.7Ghz, 512Mb RAM and dial up. That might help you feel better about waiting a few seconds for a page to load. This is not a sign that the world as we know it is ending - yet. I will concede that the dial up speed for downloads was a bit bothersome for a while. Just reminds me of what the word patient means and how to practice the concept. Regards to all, Mel
April 30, 201412 yr I would like to support the original poster. Far too often recently I have been unable even to get to any of the AVSIM pages. Although I believe that work is currently progressing on improving the service, such an important resource must have a fast and reliable response. End of serious gripe  Cheers, Richard Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.2 GHz, 16 GB memory, 1 TB SSD, GTX 1080 Ti, 28" 4K display Win10-64, P3Dv5, PMDG 748 & 777, Milviz KA350i, ASP3D, vPilot, Navigraph, PFPX, ChasePlane, Orbx
