March 4, 201412 yr Author Well, it doesn't seem to have broken anything, but any differences aren't obvious. Yet. I did have to reboot after installing it or it took forever to start up. Now startup time is down 2 seconds from 20 to 18... gotta love it after a couple of minutes for AS2012. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! March 4, 201412 yr Now startup time is down 2 seconds from 20 to 18... gotta love it after a couple of minutes for AS2012. That's incentive to upgrade right there! I did try the demo but my trial expired before I got a chance to test much. I just don't have that much time to allocate to FSX in a week. The only improvement over AS2012 that I noticed was finally the fog seemed to be better. Well that and the quicker loading times. One area I was hoping to see improvement in that I did not was full cloud cover from above. In other words, you take off with say a full overcast at say 1000 feet agl and then after you climb above it and look down it becomes scattered cloud cover and you see the ground. Is this still the way it is or were my settings not correct?
