March 17, 201412 yr Have a read here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc526949.aspx#mozTocId836373, everything's explained very well. In short, you'll need to edit the fourth value of the contact point entries of that aircraft, most likely it needs to be lowered, but I can't tell by how much/what value, as I don't know what the reference point is nor how far the planes' wheels are above the ground. The entries are in feet, btw. Florian
March 17, 201412 yr Author Thank you Florian. I just wonder why these values were ok and suddendly wrong. Ah! FSX.... Real Deraps
March 17, 201412 yr i have also the same problem with this category of planes :ATR or Dash. But it's also the same thing in flying. So i suppose that is not a problem of value of contact point entries ....perhaps i have not understood the explanations Stéphane
March 17, 201412 yr Author When i run FSX for the first time after reinstalling Ultimate Traffic 2, aircrafts are normally on the ground each side of my own aircraft but after few minutes they start going up and down, turning in the sky etc. Real Deraps
March 17, 201412 yr Same problem here.I installed FTX Global and set mesh resolution to 5m. I also have Ultimate Traffic II running. The "dancing-aircraft-phenomenon" seems to happen to Dash-8's exclusively. I encounter it at Munich (EDDM) regularly. NB: I also have Aerosoft's Mega Airport Munich installed.
March 17, 201412 yr Author Well, not happy that you have the same problem, but happy to see that i'm not the only one. I think we should report it to ORBX. Maybe that a problem with FTX Global. Real Deraps
March 17, 201412 yr Author OK guys, i've found a solution to this issued. (Jim you were right). You have to change this value in the aircraft.cfg (UT2 aircrafts) for the DH1 and DH3 (Dash 8-100 and Dash 8-300). For an unknown reason, those values have been changed. Just put back the below values and all seems working good. I've visited the Ultimate Traffic II forum and found it there. Thanks a lot for your help and best regards. LeftMain = 3, -14.5, -1, 900, 0RightMain = 3, 14.5, -1, 900, 0 Real Deraps
March 18, 201412 yr Author Unfortunately, wrong values get back each time i load FSX and i thought i was just with the DH dash 8 but all Ultimate Traffic 2 aircrafts have wrong values. Real Deraps
March 18, 201412 yr Author I use UT2 and none of my planes are like that. I'm also using UT2 for years and never had this problem before. Weird. Real Deraps
March 26, 201412 yr Author Hello, I still have to do some other tests but so far, i think this issue was caused by Iclouds (Apple). I have uninstall Iclouds and i have no more aircrafts "dancing" in the sky or diving in the ground. Hope that was really the cause. Best regards. Real Deraps
