Double boot issue

Featured Replies

Hello, since I overclocked my system and turned HT off, it won't boot normally (The problem doesn't persist when leaving HT on though). When pressing the pwr button the fans spin up for 1 sec, system shuts off and then reboots. It's annoying as hell and I didn't find anything helpful on the internet. I read this is a common issue with ASUS mainboards, but what about ASRock? Any suggestions?

Specs are in my profile. Thanks in advance!

I´ve got the same for a long time now but honestly I don´t care. As long as it´s working, I don´t mind that.

Best regards, Steffen

I haven't found a setting yet that eliminates this. Guess I'll have to live with it as long as it won't harm anything.. Thanks for the input.

As far as I know the bug, it´s because of the MB chipset which presumably has an problem with the BIOS. That´s at least what I know about the problem. I´ve got an P8P67 Chipset with an i5-2500k CPU.  But as I doesn´t harm anything, it´s not important.

Best regards, Steffen

Ok thanks. I did a BIOS update a few months ago but that didn't help. Also I haven't found any ASRock user who has the same problem, that's strange. Oh well
