Good Freeware Bush Scenery?

Featured Replies

but I could end up with addon airports in sinkholes or on ridiculous pillars of rock lol.

FYI Ultimate Terrain is not a mesh product, it will not change any elevations. It is a texture and VTP type product. You would get more accurate roads, railroads, bodies of water, shorelines and rivers in the USA (UTUSA) and Canada (UTCan) if you chose to purchase and install both. The improvement is amazing and worth the investment if you so choose.

I realize this drifts a bit away from your original question but no harm in being informed. Here is another thought. Have you considered the option of finding some suitable (to you) spots and creating your own little bush strips which are difficult enough to challenge you? Just a thought as I said.

Mel

Oh, I did not realize that, I looked at is and I was impressed but I rarely fly near coastlines because my home airport is in Colorado and higher than 6000 feet and I usually like to fly to mountain airports with occasional 14,000 foot peaks getting in the way (: besides I've got photo scenery and an accurate terrain mesh for my home state of Colorado so I'm happy (its  freeware called Real Terrain Colorado by David Smith and it comes in two packs), its nice to have the beautiful mountains here look like the real thing and not horrid lumps with the default mesh.
