March 17, 201412 yr Hello, Lately, I've been seeing a lot of ctd's when I right click or use the top menu. It would say "A fatal error has occured". It's not uiautomationcore.dll because I already fixed that. The first error was from ntdll.dll and the second was when I was selecting an fsrecorder flight and the third one was when selecting the POSKY 777 (panels.dll). It's not uiautomationcore.dll because I already fixed that. Some say that when you do a lot of right clicking around the FSX menu you will got a crash and the fix is to place an older version of uiautomationcore.dll in your main fsx folder. You put the wrong one in their and you could have even more problems. So, when you say it's not the uiautomationcore.dll because you fixed that, I'm not comprehending as the uiautomationcore.dll is the only fix for your problem. Well, maybe it is, maybe it is not. My theory is that you have your fsx settings set so high that your computer cannot render, cannot possibly run fsx without problems. High display driver settings will cause this too. The ntdll.dll indicates you have high settings. In any case, I suggest you check out the AVSIM CTD Guide (located to the right of this forum under Hot Spots). It provides more information about the uiautomationcore.dll and also has some suggestions for fixing the ntdll.dll CTD's and freezes. The panels.dll crash is due to the panel you placed in the Posky. It wasn't installed properly. Best regards, Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource!
