FSX Addons

Featured Replies

Afternoon All,

Im having a problem with my FSX at the moment where it dosent seem to want to run any addons like FSUIPC, FS dreeam teams Coutl And GSX just too name a few.

I have one addon that is running correctly and thats EZDOK, And the only thing i can think of is because EZDOK isnt installed to my Program Files X86 Folder.

When i run ASN ( Active Sky next ) I get this message :

ASN Cannot control ambient weather parameters correctly, thus it cannot function properly at this point in time and will now shut down. Please Make sure you have proper rights / ownership of the program files X86 Folder and have trusted / excluded ASN from your security software and so on

So im kinda guessing something is wrong with that Program files X86 folder. The problem is i dont know how to fix it.

Any ideas ??

Thanks in Advance

Jack

My guess have you got your uac turned off and running addons as admin rights etc is the first place to start from.  And since you havnt  put what pc your running in your signature block will make it hard to solve  for you.

And since you stated   the only  addon  that works is ezdok which is installed outside of the default location would suggest  that its all about admin priv   on your pc
