Ye you right, i have never flown the turorial but i have watched many YouTube videos with proper tutorial flights from real pilots from the PMDG 737 NGX, and i followed the steps Excactly like they do, sometimes the AIR COND warning shows but sometimes not (often it does)

As someone who puts stuff up on YouTube, I feel like it's a bit hypocritical to say this, but most of the stuff you find on YouTube is absolutely terrible.

 

If it's not wrong (completely or even partly), it likely doesn't include why you're doing what you're doing (something I always get upset about).  That 'why' is hugely important to your understanding.  I need no other example than the one you already provided: what is the purpose of the CRZ ALT window on the pressurization panel?  I doubt any one of those videos noted that you place your anticipated final cruise altitude in there (and leave it alone).  They probably just left it at "spin this wheel until it says '36000'" which does you no good for any other flight than that specific one.  It doesn't tell you the why behind anything - just do it.  Why?  "Because."  (And that's usually because they have no clue why - they just want to look important by having a video on YouTube with views, so they gloss over the actual facts.)

 

 

 

In a world that's hugely visual (and tends to go for video over printed visual material), I can't fault you for it, but think of it this way:

Any idiot can create a YouTube account (heck, I have one...) and create a video about flying the NG.

People who know a ton about the NG created the tutorials for you.

 

Do you prefer your information from unverified sources, or sources who know what they're talking about?

 

Always go with the included tutorials first.  If you want extra information, or you want to see the tutorial in video form, go to that after at least glancing over the original tutorial.

I totalt Understand you but this person i look on is my in real life friend... But im gonna fly the tutorial flight as you said
