Not sure if it might be of internet, but back then when I was new to simulators I always flew Antonov An-24 turboprop in FS9. And at every airport I arrived on, progressive taxi always lead me to a cargo area for every single flight. And not only this, usually, those cargo areas were very far away from where I landed and it wasn't rare to taxi for 30 minutes at large airports to my "gate" by the logistics.

Well, that was true for me as well too. I always imagined that was flying some low budget airline and was being sent to the butt end of the airport!

True, I had exactly the same feeling. I flew for Belavia Belarusian Airlines, with an aging Soviet airplane whom is severely cash stripped. And went, hmm, does FS9 simulate I have to go to the fartest and cheapest parking space? After all, I was completely new to FS, and didn't really know the reason.

 

Kind of like a version of Ryanair
