As no one helped me with my installation post, I did find a video that explained how to update and keep your add-ons without reinstalling. It worked for me. I only had to reinstall FSUPIC. Gus Lane

Can someone help out with the proper technique on how to prep for installing 2.5. I currently have 2.4 installed with a few add-ons. Do I delete this, keep the add-ons, wipe everything...etc.? I don't know. Is there an installation guide? How does one keep the add-ons without re-installing? These are things I need to know. Thank you. Gus Lane

I can't help you with the API crash, but for most Steam users, they are reporting success with the Terrain .dll crash by running their cfg file through Bojote's tweaking tool. I have used it and have not had a terrain .dll crash since. I'm sure that it will be fixed officially. Keep me posted.

Some people on Steam are reporting that the error is disappearing once they run the cfg through Bojote's cfg tool!

It happens also without using DX10.

Just wondering if anyone still uses PC speakers for sound anymore. It seems as though most people are using headphones. I was wondering what would offer the best sound? If you are still using speakers, which ones are you using? Thanks

I don't know if it's my settings or if it's all the planes. After installing 2.3 and then 2.4, I've noticed that all planes start with the engines off. This happened in 2.3 and continues in 2.4. Is this a settings issue? Or did something change? Any ideas? I'm all for realism, but sometimes I just want a quick flight. Thank you.

Like it. Followed Rob's guide and was able to install without a hitch. Didn't have to re-install any add-ons!

It installed properly. The module folder is there. There is nothing in the menu bar regarding FSUIPC4 4.936. It even accepted my key. The only issue I had was that it was looking for FSX which I do not have installed, but that isn't an issue. I am confused as to what to do! Thanks

Yep. I had it while flying in Ecuador. I thought I was flying over a lake for a minute there.

I've noticed it too. Seems to be an incredibly difficult aircraft to fly.
