777 Textures Fail

Featured Replies

Im having this problem where i load up my pmdg 777 and i load cold and dark, i am starting it up when i look up and notice the building that wads just in front of me is gone i go to external view and i cant see my aircraft anymore but its still there, it keeps doing this and every time i load up it takes about 5 mins or so for my textures to fail. I am not running any scenery mods or anything just default fsx.

By the way when i start up my FSX and select the 777 on free flight screen there is a window that pops up that says

"WARNING: the PMDG product was unable to create its work files. Please make sure you are running Flight simulator X as administrator"

So i did that and the window goes away but the problems still there. This is so frustrating if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you had any luck with this because I am having the exact same issue.

Full names in the PMDG forums please.

Buildings disappearing may not be a PMDG product problem but something with either or system or setup/configuration. Confirm your system meets minimum system requirements for the product and give a little more information about your configuration.

Your problem is not universal, happens to very few and is usually fixable but not with the information provided.

In what folder do you have FSX installed?

Also, try HIGHmEMFIX=1 in the GSX.cfg.

(I had buidings missing from Drzewicki without it!)
