Cannot use mouse wheel / scroll on second screen

Recommended Posts

I was very suprised that I couldnt find any related posts to that Problem as it seems to be a major fsx problem. I have tried in PMDG NGX and 777. I have moved the MCP panel to my second screen but I am not able to use the mouse wheel to scroll the speed and altitude. It only works when the mouse focus is on the first screen but this gets losts as soon as I click on any button in the second screen like AP on/off.

Is there any way to fix that? I would like to be able to  use the scoll on the second screen to set heading, altitude and speed :-/

Thanks
Gabriel

Is your FSX running in windowed mode?  If not you may have to change it for the mouse to function.

Give windowed mode a try, at least, to see if your mouse will work in the 2nd screen, make your settings changes and then go back to full-screen mode.

yap tried it and it works in windowed mode. Not sure if I can get used to it. Vsync is missing and I dont see a way to get rid of the window frames...

I had the same question and issue a long time ago and found it only works in windowed mode. When I tried it in Full Screen mode, I sometimes had FSX freezing up on me and I had to shut FSX down. Haven't tried it in P3DV2 yet.

On another topic, we recently changed our signature policy - http://forum.avsim.net/topic/436632-new-signature-rules/ and we are kindly asking everyone to move their system specs to the My PC profile. Details are in the link. Just as we changed the policy, AVSIM crashed for a while so the policy is actually pretty new. Thanks for your cooperation.
