FSX Reverse Thrust

Featured Replies

With FSX, F2 is pressed and held to engage reverse thrust.  FSUIPC4 can be programmed to assign a joystick or throttle quadrant button (I use the Saitek Throttle microswitch button) to brake the aircraft on landing.  However, this cannot be used as a LINDA command as F2 opens the Lua Editor.  Is there a FSX Command that can be used in Linda to activate reverse thrust?

Yes they are named something like Throttle_1_dec Throttle_2_dec etc? Then use the similarly named command with cut in the name to return the throttle to idle.

Cheers, Andy.

Thank you Andy. That solved it.

Both FSX: THROTTLE DECR and FSUIPC 65617 Decrease_Throttle applied to the throttle stop button for both on press and on repeat applies full reverse thrust until deselected.  This is equivalent to F2 on the keyboard.
