What is JFK's landing altitude?

Featured Replies

It's always found on the charts. Look for field elevation, or "FIELD ELEV".

At KJFK its 14 ft

So you enter 0 on the landing altitude window. The closest to 14 feet. Some charts only have the threshold elevation which is 12, 11 etc on some runways, in which case it is still 0.

I know there's a lot of money in aviation because I put it there.

You can also find it by going to the CDU > INIT REF > INDEX > NAV DATA, then type the airport identifier into the scratchpad and select it up to 2L (airport ident).
