Mexican scenery

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,I've just got back from a nice break in Cancun, and was wondering if there is any scenery or landclasses available for the Mexican Caribbean? don't mind if freeware are payware either, as the default sucks!

There is some scenery for Mexico (and many other places) here. http://walhalla.mine.nu/fs2004.phpThis is the best listing of freeware I know of. Maybe some searches in various places could produce other results but I have usually found that anything that exists is listed on that site. I think someone did an AfCad for Cancun, I seem to remember, but I'm not sure about actual scenery.

There's a company out of Mexico called FlyMex. They have two huge programs that cover the Northern part ($40USD), of Mexico and the Central/South part($30USD)as well. I think it's pretty darn good. Each package has 50+ airports enhanced at the same price you might pay for one normal airport plus they give you landclass and terrain mesh, AFCADS, and some photoreal textures to boot.Just for kicks I fired up FS9 over to Cancun (since I know that's what interest you), to have a look. It's no FlyTampa but when you consider you got some 50 airports like that I think it's a good deal. Definately better than default. But don't expect and scenery or the hotels and Senior Frogs lined on the beach (ah... to be yound again!).Check out their site at http://www.flymex.com.mx/bodyeng.htmFreeware - probably a dozen or so out there if you do a search in the library. Check out Alcapulco... good!Hope that helps

The best Cancun is by the Fly to Caribe series available at Simmarket. I had the Flymex Cancun, but the Fly to Caribe is so much better, I replaced it. Fly to Caribe has some other really nice Caribbean sceneries and Bill Melichar has put out a very nice Mexico City and Acapulco.Lee
