April 9, 201412 yr Are we excited, yet? Is anyone else getting that creeping feeling that Flight simming is in a kind of holding pattern? I look around and it all seems so dated! FSX, X-Plane. P3D....... Even with extensive face-lifts its not hard to see these are really (at heart) the same programs we've known,... forever. even the lure of a new plane or scenery is less and less able to lessen the feeling of "Been there, done that." It would be so nice to see something really new in the neighborhood. Before we all start digging out our smoking jackets. :Praying: We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. April 10, 201412 yr Hi. I'm sure it's been mentioned many many times before but 1. I'm too demotivated to look and 2. I don't keep up with this new-fangled technology stuff. Has no-one thought of combining the multi-screen aspect of FS imaging with two slightly different VC eye-points to send one image to one 3-d LED monitor channel and the other to the other channel on the same monitor? I'd have thought 3-d without goggles would be a relatively enlivening development. I'm sure it's an old suggestion with serious and insurmountable technical obstacles but as I said... D
