April 11, 201412 yr When installing SAK Patch 3 this evening I got the following message when it opened up FTX Central. Region Files Validation Report Custom Files Validation Report FSX File Doesn't Exist D\Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\Texture\Bridge Roads DDS I posted this on the limited users support forum on the official Orbx website but am posting it here too because I might get a quicker response. Do I have to reinstall Global? Do I have to uninstall it first if I have to reinstall it? Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
April 11, 201412 yr Hi Noel, I'm guessing you have recently uninstalled UTX - the file Bridge Roads.dds is removed by the UTX uninstaller. There is a copy of this file on the ORBX forums, but of course you can't go there. if you want I can e-mail you a copy of the file tonight, or you could also simply re-install UTX, make a backup copy of this file and then uninstall UTX again and put the backup copy back into the simulator. Cheers Jack Jack Johnston
April 11, 201412 yr Author Thanks Jack. I got the same reply from Ed over at the limited users support forum. He also included a zip file for me to download. I had UTX installed and the uninstalled it and am waiting for Vector 1.2. I gotta say I have always had prompt and satisfactory support from the official support forum even though I am a limited user. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
June 19, 201411 yr I have experienced the same issue tonight after installing FTX Europe- England. Is there any possibility that I could have the same zip file sent to me to download and if that is possible what do I then do with it. Many thanks. Michael Michael Broom
