I have a new PC and I bought a new copy of FSX Gold since I couldn't find my old copy.

 

Will I still need to get SP 1 and 2 if I have the gold edition, and if so, where would I get that from?

That depends on whether you are going to install Acceleration, which is part of FSX Gold.

 

If you do install Acceleration then no, you do not need to install the SPs.

 

if you elect not to install Acceleration then you will have to install the Service packs and you can find them in the Avsim Library.
