April 21, 201412 yr Hi all, I have recently started using FSX after upgrading from FS9. I am flying the default 737 with virtual cockpit but dont like the view. If I want to look out the left window I press 4 on the num pad, but instead of looking immediately left it scrolls left (like using the hat on joystick) Is it possible to make it look immediately left instead of scrolling? I have tried the view settings but nothing seems to work? Also, its quite distracting that when you pull up or bank your viewpoint moves with the plane instead of holding the fixed point. Can this be turned off? Jay

Jay, if you mean gross left/right/forward/backward movements you are probably seeing FSX's dynamic head movement. To turn it off open your fsx.cfg file and set all the appropriate values to zero as here: [DynamicHeadMovement]LonAccelOnHeadLon=0.000000LonAccelOnHeadPitch=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000YawAccelOnHeadLat=0.000000RollAccelOnHeadRoll=0.000000MaxHeadAngle=0.000000MaxHeadOffset=0.000000HeadMoveTimeConstant=0.000000 gb. April 21, 201412 yr thought that if your in vc mode no matter what if you press the keys it will only scroll like using the hat switch. But if your in 2d and than do it than it looks left immediately but could be wrong I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
