Saitek switch panel question

I'm trying to get my Saitek switch panel to work with certain 3rd party add ons (namely majestic q400 and eaglesoft citation x). The gear lever works but none of the switches work. I have the Spad drivers installed and also have a registered copy of FSUIPC. I tried programming the switches through FSUIPC but they don't appear to be recognized. Is there a good way to to do this? Perhaps LINDA?
