i purchase your videos, and i can go on VIMEO to watch them. But my internet connection is too slow and i can't see the videos as well as i want. Can i download then on my computer to see them better?

What I did  I downloaded  them to my pc  than burned to a cd   than I deleted the downloaded  videos  from the pc.  To your answer yes  once you download to your pc it runs better

Hi Pinotibe, yes you can download them from Vimeo - just click on the 'where are my videos' link which is pinned at the top of the forum for details.

 

Vimeo dynamically changes the stream quality according to your web connection and you do need a pretty decent speed to stream in HD with no buffering. We would ALWAYS advise people to download the whole thing and watch offline for the best experience. You can as Peter did burn them to a CD or a few people have picked up a cheap USB flash drive ($10) which is more than enough to hold the 12.5GB space needed.

On Vimeo, next to the "Download" button, there should be a "Watch now" button?

It's one or the other guys, if you buy from Just Flight or Simmarket then it is offered as a download only. Only if you purchase from our Vimeo on Demand store you can stream or download.

Is there a way to speed up the download or to resume the download so I don't have to start again from scratch each time ? 

Actually for the part 9 which sizes 2.7Go, it says 1 day remaining to finish the download !!!!!!!  :wacko:

I tried with a download manager but it doesn't seem to work and the download is not resumeable.

With Vimeo you can download the smaller sizes instead. It's only the full HD files of the line flights that are really big. I can't help you with the download speed as it's an end user thing.

 

Vimeo's servers are really fast and thus far we've not heard of any problems with it. I don't know why a download manager doesn't work, that's odd.

Thanks for the answer Ben. Sorry for being a noob with Vimeo, but how do you change the size of the downloadable video ? I can only see two buttons below each video : Watch Now and Download.

Hi Stephane. Have a look over on the 'where are my videos?' topic here in the forum. The second to last picture shows the option to download smaller versions of the videos. You need to do this on a PC/Mac by the way, these options are not available from a phone or tablet.
