P3DV2.2 Chico to Redding

Featured Replies

Went back to SGSS AA and tested it out ... this was a wonderful sunset flight.  Just jumped in the PiperSport at Chico used current time/date and loaded ASN for weather (which was pretty accurate ... has been hot in CA these past few days 90 F) and did a short hop over to Redding.

Went back to using nVidiaInspector, my settings are here: http://robainscough.com/Prepar3D_Settings_2.html

Molto bella!

Really nice, Rob. Ever considered Twitch streaming?

Didn't know what Twitch Streaming was ... but guessed and looked it up ... interesting but I can't imagine I could stream 1440p quality video or 4K video (when I move to that output) ... assume it must be down sized?  Interesting idea though ... Flight Sim TV ... maybe have channels (aka flights) by region?

Cheers, Rob.

Nice vid.  I wonder if anyone has a 'fix' for a rotating beacon.  They look very, very different RW.

I think that beacon goes back to FS 2000?  I'm actually surprised someone hasn't done a replacement for it ... maybe it's hard coded and not something that can be modified with shaders, texture files, and/or fx files?

There are loads of FSX'ers doing Twitch streaming. When I get my platform stable, I'm most certainly going to give it a go.

Yes, it will be downsized to 1080p automatically. If you use Shadowplay, there is an inbuilt feature to stream direct to twitch. If you've got a paid twitch account, it will even archive the video and upload it to your YouTube account if you so wish.
