Flight direct issue - default A321 cockpit

I have an issue with the default A321 cockpit.

Whenever I download an Airbus addon which already has the default a321 cockpit installed, the 'roll bar' of the flight director never works.

The 'pitch bar' always works fine but the roll bar is never active in any mode.

Anybody know of any fixes for this?
