Incredible atmospherics! CYTZ to CYYB

Recommended Posts

May 7, at 14:00 hours Eastern Standard Time, Cessna SkyMaster 377 at 5,500 ft.   Cloud base at 6,800 ft...at Dusk, producing some pretty incredible visuals (clouds and terrain).  (change your time of day to Dusk)

I highly recommend, this flight plan...at this time, and day. If you can't take the flight right now, use historic mode in your weather generator; and start Microsoft Flight Simulator X.   Place your plane at Toronto City Centre (CYTZ) and enjoy the dusk to night transition flight to a very beautiful place in Ontario, Canada....

Watch your approach to CYYB, as it sits on an escarpment...

Cheers!

Sounds like a pretty neat flight Mitch.  More than likely though I'd fly it with a 777 B)

Hi Chris,

Yeah..it was very easy on the eyes, for the weather at that time of posting.  A nice assorted cloud base about 1,800 ft above me, mostly all the way to North Bay.  Great approach at Dusk over the water down onto 08.  North Bay is a very nice region of Ontario....tons of lakes, great for water landings and touring etc.
