May 8, 201412 yr Hello, I have been using fspassengers for a while without problems, and suddenly after i installed fs2crew nxg and pmdg 737 ngx sp1c-every time i start fsx while it's loading, it says : "Flight simulator has detected a problem with a third party software program (add-on): Name: fspassengersx version: 1.0.0.0 file: FsPassengersx.dll" etc. If i allow it to run, fsx crashes (fatal error) a few seconds later. What should i do? I have been trying to uninstall fs2crew, pmdg 737 but no luck.. Please help! Thanks

May 8, 201412 yr Author You mean to reinstall fspassengers? I have done this many times... Any idea how to fix this? I don't want to reinstall fsx
May 8, 201412 yr First thing to try is to remove the FSX.cfg and let it build a new one... just copy the old one to the desktop then start FSX, it will load defaults so you will need to reset any custom settings Jay
May 9, 201412 yr Author I did it and it didn't work... I keep getting the same error and then fsx crashes... Any ideas..?
May 9, 201412 yr The only thing I can see is to find a way to uninstall the problem program and see what happens. You may have a corrupted download/install Jay
May 9, 201412 yr I had a similar problem recently after downliading an add on. In my case I managed to remove the add on files running the 'regedit' process: 'Windows +r' in the box type 'regedit' & 'enter' click on the Windows C drive Select 'File' & click on 'Extract' Make sure you have still selected the C drive & Type: Config_backup & 'enter' 'Control'+f key 'Enter' Type the name of the software you wish to remove 'Enter' The first unwanted file will be highlighted Delete the file to find subsequent files press F3 & repeat until the regedit process says 'no more files found' Close & restart computer & start FSX. With the problem siftware removed FSX should load ok. It did in my case so I hope you have the same success. Best wishes.
