FS2 Crew Failing to start after reinstall

Recommended Posts

Hey, just reinstalled everything for FSX so i could have all my sim stuff in a directory by themselves, but now when i go in to my PMDG 738/9 Fs2 fails to start. Ive tried checking the gadge INI, tried assigning buttons to pull up the main panel. and finally just tried to pull it up through the views menu, nothing, the panel isnt even there. As if Fs2 isnt even installed. Has anyone else ever dealt with an issue like this?

and yes I've tried reinstalling. its done nothing

Did you set the Panel CFG to FS2Crew via the FS2Crew NGX Config Manager?

Make sure you run everything with Admin rights.

Best,

Enable FS2Crew Voice Control:

  • Click to add the FS2Crew window and gauge entries to the PMDG 737 NGX's Panel.CFG file.
  • Unlike previous versions of FS2Crew that simply swapped the entire Panel.CFG file with a FS2Crew modified version, this Config Manager adds the required FS2Crew Gauge and Window entries dynamically.  This way any custom edits you may to your Panel.CFG will remain intact.
  • The Config Manager will make a backup of your original Panel.CFG file.
  • You can remove FS2Crew from your PMDG 737's Panel.CFG file by clicking 'Disable FS2Crew Voice Control'.
  • If you uninstall FS2Crew, your Panel.CFG will be automatically restored to its pre-FS2Crew condition.
  • You can open your PMDG 737 NGX's Panel.CFG manually using Notepad.  The Panel.CFG is located here:

Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG 737-800NGX\panel\panel.cfg

disabling and re ennabling voice control seems to have fixed it, didnt get any errors when starting the pre flight, will have to test it with a full vatsim flight tomorrow as now v-pilot is having problems after a PMDG 772 crash
