May 13, 201412 yr After having issues with FSX repeatedly hanging when trying to select the PMDG 777, I deleted the FSX.cfg, let it re-build, but every time I try to fire up the PMDG 777, I get usual Microsoft nonsense of a Security Warming when asked to install/approve the .DLL file, and then it again, promptly just hangs. I've disabled MSE anti-virus. So, maddening. Can anyone help? Thanks. Rick Almeida
May 13, 201412 yr Rick, Which version of FSX? Which version of FSUIPC? Did the T7 ever work prior? All other Addons OK? Load the default Cessna first? Win Event Viewer say anything? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 13, 201412 yr Author Hi Vaughan Oops, sorry I missed all that. I thought it being in my side profile it was all there. FSX Gold+Acceleration Windows 7 64-bit Professional FSUIPC unregistered latest Yes, the T7 has been working perfectly for months/ All add-ons also working normal Default Trike loads perfectly. It only hangs when I go to run the T7 and the T-related .DLL is asked to run with the usual Microsoft Security Warning AV disabled. Event Vwr has been turned off Rick Almeida
May 13, 201412 yr Post here your DLL.xml Loading Cessna first? Loading a previously saved flight .... Like a PMDG tutor flight ... does it work? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
May 13, 201412 yr Author Hi Vaughan Thanks for being so helpful. Solved. Did a complete cold re-boot. Then one by one okay'd the various add-on DLLs, then finally got to the 777 DLL and this time it went through.FSX started okay and managed to load T7 at KORD Rick Almeida
