Short Field Operation (FCOM rwy field distance ?)

Featured Replies

Hi,

Can someone help me where to find information for short field operation regarding takeoff safety runway field lenght (distance) in the FCOM ?

I am seeking the tabel with ,weight, Flaps15 or 25 and full thrust takeoff with wind and altitude, slope etc.   (for SBRJ and Innsbruck for instance.)

I can only find Flaps 5 (normal) in the FCOM (V1-VR-V2)

Thanks

Perf Inflt chapter PI.10.1. Page 497 of the .pdf, flap 1 to 25 in top table. Is that what you're after?

Most airlines have boeing's Perf Tool on their EFB/iPad to crunch the numbers.

Closest we can get is TOPCAT (Perf Tool equivalent) on a laptop (EFB).

Thanks but Nope. The performance dispatch PD30.1 page 360 without obstacles. Need to find this tabel but for other flaps settings.

Unfortunately you need the Flight Planning and Performance Manual which is not included with the NGX package :(

Do a google search for "737 FPPM", there seems to be a few copies on the net.

You can use the B737ng dispatch sheet from avsim.com. It can do calculations for Short Field Performance option as well as standard performance calculations. It's based on various FPPMs, FCOMs, and other performance documents. All you need is MS Excel.
