Improve scenery between cities?

Featured Replies

I tried searching the forums, but I can't find an answer to my question. Anyway, I have FTX Global base and FTX Global Vector installed, and it makes cities in my home state (Kansas) look great. However, scenery between cities is very bad. It's just a really bland looking grass type texture with some farm fields mixed in every once in a while. Is my only option to find a comprehensive scenery texture replacement for my state like megascenery (which I dislike since it gets rid of ALL autogen), or is there something else I can do to replace only those textures? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

We'll probably have to wait for the Orbx NA Landclass.  Sometime after EU Landclass.  Might be a while.  At least it's on the Orbx project list.

Thank you so much. I guess I didn't know what I was looking for even. Now I know it's called a land class :) I can deal with it until Orbx comes out with one.

That landclass product should be pretty amazing in what it will do for the non NA regions.

I was stationed at Ft Riley, and flew to Carson in UH-1's, to be honest that too me is pretty much how it looks.
